LU-CIX stands for Luxembourg Commercial Internet eXchange.
LU-CIX was founded in 2009 based on a cross-industries initiative with the aim of enhancing the development of the Internet in Luxembourg.
With a model of openness and neutrality, LU-CIX runs the Luxembourg Internet eXchange infrastructure. This Internet exchange point permits the various Internet service providers to exchange Internet traffic between their networks, and thus directly connect the content providers and international Internet operators located in Luxembourg.
LU-CIX is also the organiser of the Luxembourg Internet Days event.

Year after year the Luxembourg Internet Days gathers during two days increasing number of visitors joining free of charges high level conferences, business case presentations, round tables, networking sessions and an expo.
