Biography

As a co-founder of PwC UK Blockchain and Smart Contracts practice. Ajit has been instrumental in synthesising rich insights to assist several banks, investors, startups and regulators in framing their response to the disruptive potential of BlockchainTechnology.

Ajit’s area of focus is the implementation, regulation and risk assurance of distributed ledger platforms in financial services. Among other notable engagements, Ajit led the delivery of the distributed ledger PoCfor the Bank ofEngland and he currently focused on applying PwC’s assurance capabilities to taking our clients’ DLT and other emerging tech solutions into commercial production.

Prior to PwC, Ajit served in global technology and innovation roles at Barclays, Goldman Sachs, GE and Bell Communications Research. His hands-on expertise in regulatory program management, banking technology, data analytics, distributed computing and network protocol engineering affords him specialist insights into the applications and challenges of DLT.
