Michel Blumenthal (62) runs a Management Consulting company, euroVR.net, specialized in strategic development and financing coaching. Based on his experience and passionate by innovation, he also coaches start-ups and Executives on strategic issues, business modeling, marketing and financing. Michel is also board member in several companies either as independent director or as investor. He has coached and advised so far over 500 projects.
He earned a Master‘s degree from the Solvay Business School at Brussels University (1976) as well an M.B.A. from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (1978). He also is a certified Board Director and advisor into several public programs in Belgium.
He started his professional career at Allied Chemicals Klippan seat belt business as market analyst. Afterwards he moved into FMCG marketing with Materne jams, then into B2B marketing and general management for Puratos and FMC food ingredients until 1998. International experience was acquired in each position as they involved large geographic areas, including 6 years in Canada to establish and grow Puratos subsidiary. This Canadian start-up experience gave him a new professional orientation towards entrepreneurship and innovation management.
