Biography
Chris Buckridge is an Advisor to the RIPE NCC Managing Director on issues of Global Strategic Engagement. He has worked for the RIPE NCC since 2006. During his tenure at the RIPE NCC, Chris has led the organisation’s external relations activities, including engagement with governments, law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and international organisations such as the United Nations, the European Commission, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He continues to be deeply involved in the RIPE NCC’s Internet governance engagement, and is a member of the Internet Governance Forum Multistakeholder Advisory Committee (IGF MAG) and the EuroDIG Association Board.
Born in Brisbane, Australia, Chris previously worked for the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC).
