David DAB

David has spent most of his career at the intersection of technology and business. His professional journey combines management roles in large corporations, venture building, entrepreneurship, consulting, as well as academic research.

David has recently joined Microsoft as the National Technology Officer for Belgium and Luxembourg. He is part of a group of people with similar role in other countries. Amongst others, the role of this group is to anticipate the impact of new technologies on a 3 to 7 years’ time horizon and help society at large prepare for opportunities and challenges stemming from the digital transformation of our world.

Prior to joining Microsoft David held different positions including being the Chief Innovation Officer at ING Belgium, the CEO of a fintech, and the co-founder of The Bridge – a Foundry as a Service venture building company. David spent in total 10 years at McKinsey and held senior positions at Euroclear.
