Gilles MASSEN

Gilles Massen joined the RESTENA Foundation in 1999 and was involved in many projects since that time. His core tasks have been the technical and policy development of the .lu registry as well representing .lu in national and international fora. As member of RESTENA’s CSIRT Team, he has a keen eye on operational security as well as privacy concerns. In October 2016, he took over the role of COO of LU-CIX Management GIE.

Gilles is currently co-chairing the CENTR (Council of European National Top-Level Domain Registries) Technical Working group .

He is a vocal proponent of implementing current best practices, sincluding IPv6, DNSSEC and BCP38
