Biography

Steve Braaten is a network architect for Cisco with a 25-year career in data center internetworking implementations and protocols – from SNA and TCP/IP over ESCON to MPLS on Linux and all things in between.

Steve’s current work is centered on creating a next gen, ultra-scalable and ultra-granular SDN forwarding architecture with a focus on Segment Routing and related technologies.  His team of cross-disciplinary architects is eliminating the gap between application need and network delivery capabilities to enable fully optimized, fully secure systems for business.
